What is Wishabi?

Wishabi is the next generation online shopping service allowing you to get your own community powered personal shopper. Simply start by creating your wishlist and Wishabi will dispatch deal hunters to get you the best deals for exactly what you want.

Get paid to shop! Wishabi users can become deal hunters to earn cash and help the community. Share a great deal you found online and you can earn money from our partnered merchants.


What is a Personal Shopper and how does Wishabi work?

A personal shopper is like your shopping concierge. Instead of having to spend countless hours finding deals on things you want, you simply tell your personal shopper the things you want, and it goes to work for you.

A good personal shopper needs to be able to find you deals on the things you want. Furthermore, they need to know just how good a deal is when they find one. Wishabi uses the power of the deal-hunter community in conjunction with our deal ranking technologies to give you the ultimate personal shopping experience.

To find you the best deals, wishabi uses the power of the community and direct relationships with merchants. After you create your wishlist, Wishabi works with thousands of deal-hunters to find you the best deals online. Wishabi also works directly with hundreds of Merchants to negotiotate deals and sales for the items on your wishlist.

Harness the power of the Wishabi community to help you get what you want

To help you decide on whether a deal is good or not, Wishabi has developed the patent-pending deal rank system. Deal-rank works by taking market pricing, user feedback and a variety of other factors to determine what a good deal is. Look out for the "Deal-Rank bar" to see if a deal is hot or not. A fuller bar means that the deal is hot, while a less full bar suggest an average deal.

How do I earn Cash with Wishabi?

Any Wishabi user can become a deal hunter and earn cash. Simply post a deal to the community, and Wishabi gives you the means to make money on those deals. To get started, find on Wishabi an item or store which you have found a deal for, and then post a deal from an online merchant. Note that you can always create an item first if you can't find it on Wishabi.

After you post the deal, it will be shared and rated by the community. You will earn cash for any purchases made through the deals that you post through partnered merchants.

You can see your earnings and deals that you've posted at your My Wishabi page.


What's a Wishlist and a Wish?

A Wishlist is simply a list of things that you want (your wishes). Wishabi uses your wishlist to dispatch deal hunters in order to find the best deals for things that you want. You can also share your wishlist with your friends for christmas, birthdays and other events so they know what you like.

How do I make a wish?

Just click on the "Wish it" button whenever you see it. That item will be added to your wishlist and deal hunters will be dispatched to find deals for you.

What if I can't find the Wish I want on Wishabi?

Try searching again with fewer or different keywords. Sometime the item you want may be on the 2nd or 3rd page. You can always create your own item to wish for by clicking here.


What happens after I make my personal shopping wishlist?

After you make your personal shopping wishlist, Wishabi mobilizes the community of deal hunters and partnered merchants to find you the best deals on what you want. After Wishabi collects the deals, you'll get a summarized list of all of the best places and prices to shop. You can see your summarized shopping list through My Wishabi or through your weekly deals update e-mail.


Can I share my wishlist with my friends?

Yes absolutely. Simply click on the share button from My Wishabi and you can send it to your friends.


How much does this cost?

Wishabi is, and will always be 100% free to our users.



Deal Hunting Questions

How does Deal Hunting work?

Get paid to shop! Become a Wishabi deal hunter to earn cash and help out the community. Simply choose an item or store that you want to post a deal for, and then find a deal for it! When you post your deal, it is rated and shown to the community. You will make money on all purchases that are made through your deals to partnered merchants.


How do I make money?

Simply post the best deals you find online, and if your deal is from one of our partnered merchants, you will make money for every purchase that is made through your deal.


How much money can I make?

You'll get cash for each purchase made through a deal that you have posted to partnered merchants. The exact amount depends on the merchant and the transaction amount. There is no limit on how much money you can make, the more popular and the better your deal is, the more money you'll likely make.


Which merchants can I make money from?

Wishabi is always trying to increase the number of merchants you can make money from. If you see a merchant that you feel should be a partnered merchant, please let us know at merchant-feedback@wishabi.com


Hey, I can't get commission from Amazon deals, what's up?

Wishabi wants deal-hunters to be able to make money on all deals they post, however certain merchants such as Amazon have legal terms in our partner agreements which prevent us from providing commissions back to you. It's definitely not ideal, but it's outside of our control.. sorry!

On the bright side, posting any good deal will help increase your reputation score which helps to boost the visibility of all your other deals. It also helps other people, and that's always a nice thing to do. :)


Should I still post deals for Merchants that don't provide commission?

So you've just posted a deal that you can't earn commission for.. bummer! Not so fast! By posting deals, you'll get the opportunity to increase your Wishabi reputation score, this boosts the visibility of your other deals, and helps you to earn more money on the deals which do provide commission.

Also, posting good deals helps everyone in the community, and that's always a good thing to do. :)


How do I get paid?

You can request your payment when your balance is over $20. Simply click on the Payment button to get paid. We can pay via PayPal or by Cheque.



Questions About Friends on Wishabi

What are friends on Wishabi?

Like most things in life, Wishabi is even more fun with friends. You can become friends with other Wishabi members and see what’s on their wishlist and hunt together for better deals. Being friends allow you to see their real name, known when they were last online, send them messages, and access their profile of wishes and posted deals easily. Your friends are listed in the friends area on the left side of your “My Wishabi” page.


How do we become friends?

To become friends, you can visit a Wishabi member’s profile page and click on the “Add as friend” button. An email will be sent to that member asking them to confirm your friendship. They may confirm your friendship by clicking the “Confirm friendship” button on your profile page, or respond to pending friend requests on their friends area of their “My Wishabi” page. Another way of forming new friendships is through invitations. You’ll automatically be friends with anyone you invite to Wishabi once they accept your invitation.


How do I remove a friend?

To remove a member from your list of friends, go to the friends area of “My Wishabi” and hover the cursor over the image of the friend you want to remove. An “X” will appear on the top of the picture. Click on this “X” to remove this friend your list. Note that once you remove a friend on your list, you will also be removed their list of friends.
